About us
Fermentia’s fermentation capacity is ideally suited to supply process development services and to support bacterial, fungal and recombinant fermentations from 10 to 1000 litre scale. Up to 12 identical fermentors can be used simultaneously to optimize process parameters and media constituents. Besides aerobic fermentation, our facility is also equipeed to execute anaerobic fermentation. Our team is well qualified and experienced in the field of different pharmaceutical biotransformation technologies and the scale-up of various protein expressions in 1000 liters fermentor. The plant is also equipped with separation and purification capabilities for downstream processing.
Our company is committed to providing high-quality services with an environmentally conscious mindset. After the Quality Management System implemented in 2007, in 2016 the ISO 14001:2015 Environment Management System was introduced.
