About us
Fermentia’s fermentation capacity is ideally suited to supply process development services and to support bacterial, fungal and recombinant fermentations from 10 to 1000 litre scale. The combination of 8 identical 10 litre and 6 identical 100 litre fermenters allows the implementation of optimisation tasks. Our properly equipped instruments can operate in batch and fed-batch mode. For anaerobic fermentation tasks, five 100-litre fermenters and one 30-litre fermenter are available. The plant also includes a purpose-built processing plant. Fermentia Ltd. also provides consultancy and educational services.
Our company is committed to high quality services and environmentally friendly activities. In addition to the quality management system introduced in 2007, the ISO 14001:2015 environmental management system was introduced in 2016, providing a framework for the environmental friendliness that has been part of the company’s philosophy for many years.
