The VEAB (the Veszprém Regional Committee of MTA) Industrial Biotechnology Working Comittee presented the Károly Ereky prizes at their annualy held meeting.
The Ereky Károly prize was founded by the „Hátrányos Helyzetű Gyermekek Oktatásáért” Alapítvány (Foundation for the Education of Disadvantaged Children), and it could be won with MSc or BSc theses written in the topic of applied biotechnology. The Work Comittee selected the award winners with the involvement of advisers and propsed their chosen candidates to the Foundation’s Board of Trustees. The 4th annual event –like in previous years- was also sponosred by Fermentia.
